Cottage In EnglandCome along to hear and meet the vibrant musicians and fiber artists of Scotland. There will be fiddles, tartan and much more beyond the traditional icons. Visit museums for insight from curators on historical textiles. Meet artists drawing on their rich cultural heritage to create contemporary work. Experience the energy of traditional Celtic music that courses through the culture. Participate in a fiber workshop. This eclectic tour will take you to:

  • Fiber artist studios
  • Educational and industrial centers of art and music
  • Museums, from highbrow to folk

We'll soak in urban and rural culture alike as we travel

I spent a summer researching music and fiber arts in the British Isles and did more research on a recent teaching trips to the country. Join me as I share the interesting characters and places I discovered on and off the beaten path. I am an upbeat and resourceful director and guide. I welcome both the novice and more seasoned traveler.
